The Ramsey Municipal Pool is a community hub located at 75 East Oak St, Ramsey, NJ 07446. Recognized as the “Best in Bergen” by 201 Magazine, the pool offers various amenities and programs for individuals and families, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members.

Hours of Operation

The pool operates from 10 AM to 7 PM, with designated hours for lap swimming (10 AM to 12 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM) and access to diving boards and slides (12 PM to 7 PM). Additionally, every Friday in July, the pool is open until 10 PM for a special “Fab Friday” event.

Ramsey Pool Commission

The Ramsey Pool Commission oversees the pool’s operations. The commission members include:

    Mission Statement

    The Ramsey Pool Commission is dedicated to providing a safe environment for all members, being self-sustaining, building and training a professional staff, offering quality activities and events for members of all ages, and working together with other organizations within the community.

    Membership and Fees

    The membership rates for 2023 are as follows:


        • Family: $500 for 2 members & $100 each additional family member

        • Senior: $75

        • Individual: $350

        • Non-Resident: $825 for 1 member & $150 each additional family member

      Day passes and discounted guest pass packs are also available for purchase.

      Ramsey Rays Swim Team

      The Ramsey Rays Swim Team competes with other local pools in the area. The team is coached by Nicole DeCaro, an experienced and ASCA Level 3 certified swim coach. The fee for joining the swim team is $125 per swimmer ($150 per swimmer as of 5/1), which includes a team t-shirt and swim cap.

      Swim Lessons and Other Programs

      The pool offers both group and private swim lessons. Group swim lessons are priced at $50 per week for five 45-minute lessons. Private swim lessons are available at $20 per half-hour session. Additionally, the pool hosts a Luau Party on August 25th (Rain Date August 26th).
